If paying with PO or Check, we will send the quote or invoice within 72hrs of summiting registration.

Resources Attendees will receive a comprehensive binder with numerous classroom resources.

Music Selections 13 song selections appropriate for every level of student.

Swag Bag Straps, picks, pencils, and necessary supplies necessary throughout the week.

Vendor Information Guidance on obtaining instruments, mariachi trajes (uniforms) and other essentials from different parts of the US.

Instruments Will be made available to test and borrow for the workshops during the entire week.

Lunch A delightful lunch will be provided every day during the workshop. Monday-Friday

Jam Session An evening dedicated to mingling and networking.

Live performances Enjoy presentations by the top middle school, high school, collegiate and professional mariachi ensembles in Las Vegas.

Concert Performance Opportunity On Friday, June 28th attendees will showcase their talents in a workshop participant concert. Make sure to pack a white long sleeve button up shirt and black pants/skirts for this concert.

Social Gathering A closing event featuring live music to conclude the week. FRIDAY EVENING

Opportunities An opportunity to join the Mariachi Education Family!
Networking Sessions: Scheduled breaks throughout the day will provide opportunities for networking and discussions with fellow attendees, creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
How exactly does this conference work? Are we on our main instrument all week or do we switch instruments based on the class we signed up for? Is there an opportunity to learn an instrument that isn’t your main instrument?
First time attendees will start in the beginning level track. On the first day, all attendees will sign up for the four different classes we offer, which are beginning and intermediate level classes on Vihuela, Guitarron, Violin, Trumpet, and Voice. This day's workshops will work in a round robin fashion with rotations to allow participants to explore the different instruments of the mariachi ensemble. For the rest of the week, all attendees will be in either beginning to advanced level ensemble classes. We recommend that all 1st year attendees sign up for the beginning level classes. We will have instruments for all attendees to try out and borrow for the workshops during the entire week. We encourage teachers to work on all of the instruments of the mariachi ensemble throughout the week.

We are excited to announce that The 2024 National Mariachi Education Workshops - Las Vegas will be hosted at the world famous, Orleans Hotel & Casino! You will find the conference rooms up the escalators, on the 2nd floor Convention Center.
A group rate is available for workshop attendees. Below you will find the information you need to start booking your rooms. Book as soon as possible before we get sold out!

Sunday, June 23rd - Thursday, June 27th - $82.48 per night
Friday, June 28th - $120.89
All rooms have either one king bed OR two queen beds; only non-smoking rooms are available. Inventories of specific room types are limited. The Orleans will make every attempt to accommodate requests for specific room types but cannot guarantee availability. Single or double occupancy is considered the same regarding rooms blocked and room rates.
RESERVATION PROCEDURES
Reservations will be made in Passkey by weblink or directly to the Hotel by telephone. Attendees may call the Hotel's Room Reservations Department directly at (800) 675-3267 and identify themselves as members of the convention with Reservation ID: NMWF24P. Operating on Pacific Time, hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. First night’s room and tax will be required at the time of booking. The following methods of payment may be used for deposit: company check, American Express; Diners Club; MasterCard; Discover; VISA; JCB; Money Order. Hotel accepts company/personal checks for payment of deposits only and must be received a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to arrival date.
CUT-OFF DATE
The cut-off date for room reservations will be May 31, 2024 or when group reservations are SOLD OUT.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Check-in for group arrivals begins at 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is at 12:00 noon. Hotel agrees to make rooms available prior to the stated check-in time and to extend late check-out to guests on a preferential basis, if available. An early check-in fee will apply, early check in is from 7:00am – 1:00pm.
GENERAL HOTEL POLICIES
Guestrooms must be occupied and registered to at least one adult, who is twenty-one (21) years of age or older. PHOTO IDENTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED UPON CHECK-IN.
At check-in, all guests will be required to post a valid credit card to secure their individual room accounts and to cover an additional $100.00 security/damage deposit for standard guest rooms. Hotel offers FREE PARKING, both surface and garage. Valet parking is also free with Service Charge at customer discretion.
